Short bio

Satoshi Morinaga (Ph.D.) is a Research Fellow at Data Science Research Laboratories, NEC Corporation. He joined C&C Laboratories in NEC Corporation in 1994, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo in 1999. From 2000 to 2001, he was deputy director of Financial Supervisory Agency, from 2004 to 2008 Special Researcher of the Agency, working on designing risk management legislations for international banks (Basel 2). In NEC, having been researching data mining technologies and developing business applications, he became Research Fellow in 2016. Also, a special researcher of AI research center in National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology from 2016.
